Woo hoo! We are so excited because we got a big ol' box from Dear Stella! They have tons of new lines out for Spring and we couldn't get them all but we think we have a pretty nice variety here. There's something for everyone!
First, for the kids, or the young-at-heart! Here are some selections from Play Date.
Who doesn't love a monkey and an elephant?! These ones are so cute. I really love how they have a paper-collage look going on. It's a little hard to tell in these smaller pictures, but the prints have lines like pencil sketches and they look very cut out. Plus, they feature adorable animals! The elephants are pretty with their gray tonal/floral bodies and colorful accents on their toes, tusks and tails. And the bright orange and lime green really pop on the charcoal background. Both would be so cute for baby quilts or accessories. There's also this funky dotty stripe in lime, orange and hot pink - it looks awesome with the monkeys, or would just be great for your stash! Finally, in the lower right corner is Campgrounds, which is just rad. We really liked the graph paper grid in the background, and the fun sketchy designs in pastel colors are super cute. Why not make some curtains for your camper, or placemats for the picnic table?
Next, Keep Calm and Carry On with Town & Country!
I just love this collection; it reminds me of a fun family vacation to olde England a few years ago. We rode a double-decker bus around town and checked out the sites, so I especially love the red buses and navy landmarks! Both fabrics are on a soft creamy background and in the perfect English shades of red and navy. There's also this pretty, wintery tree fabric in black and gray with touches of red in the birds. The trees are arranged in a cool checkerboard pattern, giving it a graphic look. And how about these cute little houses? This fabric is jam-packed with tiny little abodes, just like an old street in London.
Finally, an elegant and sophisticated collection - Marea!
We just cannot get enough of this gorgeous feather print! The feathers are really huge, so it's certainly eye-catching. And the colors are fab - warm browns, rusty reds, soft blue and green - the feathers look like they're painted directly on the fabric! It's stunning. And the coordinates are equally great! Graphic black on cream in two awesome designs. The wavy lines almost look like wood grain from farther away, and the fish scale pattern is so chic. Any of these fabrics would make striking home decor items - how great will your couch look with some new pillows out of these?
All of these wonderful Dear Stella fabrics can be found in our Designer Prints section. Check it out!
