Hey-o, readers! Getting excited for the holidays, or dreading them? Well, either way, Quilt Sandwich is here for you in fabric form. In fact, we've put all of our awesome holiday fabric on SALE! Yes, from Valentine's Day to Christmas, it's all only $6 - $7 a yard, and some of it is new for this season! Here are a few highlights:
Why don't we start with Valentine's Day?
How cute are these fun hearts? This is from Smitten by illustrator Bart Tourtillotte for Clothworks. I'm a sucker for pink and red together, so the multi-sized tossed hearts on the bottom just makes me happy. And the other print has such a fun, vintage-valentine look!
Next up, St. Patrick's Day!
This fun print is by Alexander Henry, who we are obsessed with! These fun little mushrooms are so cute, and then there are the little shamrocks too!
Here are some fun Halloween fabrics.
I always love Halloween prints - they're always so bright and fun. The top two are from Sheri Berry's Costume Clubhouse line. We really like the orange and black spiders and bats - they kind of look like scary lace. And her little characters are adorable! Below is an interesting graphic print by Lizzy House - she makes Jack O'Lanterns look cool!
Finally, we have a great selection of Christmas fabrics. It's not too late to do some sewing for the holidays!
Here's more from Sheri Berry - her Alpine Wonderland collection is the cutest! First, how adorable are the sleighs? There are squirrels and deer in it! And below is a great coordinate for all kinds of Christmas fabric - pretty red poinsettias on a pink background.
One more by Sheri Berry! This one could not be groovier! Makes me want to get my friends together for a Mad Men-inspired cocktail party! This fabric is especially cute for coasters.
Who doesn't love gnomes? This adorable little Michael Miller print is just so cute. Obviously we are fans of red and aqua, so we especially love the little red hats on their snowy background.
Here's a cute combo that I love! We really like Aneela Hoey's simple and sweet illustrations, and her Cherry Christmas collection is so nice and also unique. This is such a cute print - winter clothes in cheery colors on a snowy gray background. I especially love the hot pink in it! The bottom print is Groove Dot by Robert Kaufman - very groovy indeed! The colors really work with the Cherry Christmas fabric, even though they are from different collections. It's nice to break out of only using fabrics from collections when you can!
What can you do with these fun holiday fabrics? You can do fun seasonal items to make the holidays a little more special around your house - why not try Halloween placemats or gnome pillowcases for the kids? Kitchen accessories are also great because they can easily be packed away when the holidays are over - and things like potholders or aprons make fun gifts! Potholders are especially great with a plate of cookies. And of course you can also give fabric to your favorite sewer or quilter!
Check out our Holiday section for these and other great fabrics! When the fabric is gone, it's gone, so don't delay. Sale runs through Thanksgiving (November 22) - prices go back up on November 23rd!
See you soon,
Becca
